I loved how close we were to Cardiff Castle and the charming Cardiff Market, making it easy to explore on foot, and the amazing view from our room really added to our overall experience. The staff were absolutely lovely and made us feel right at home during our two-night stay.

The air conditioning in my room had a persistent loud hum, making it difficult to relax. Lighting was quite dim, and I could've used an extra blanket for comfort, as I found the quilt a bit too light for the chill. I found the overall décor felt tired and dated, wanting a bit more maintenance and care to sparkle like the rooms you see in the brochure. Navigating access via car is quite the headache, especially with confusing bus lane signs leading many guests into a fine. It’s a real quest just to reach the parking area without a misstep.

The hotel's location was superb, with a quick walk to the Motorpoint Arena. We enjoyed our stay with our little baby, especially the spacious dining area for breakfast that offered plenty of choices for the whole family.

In my wife's opinion, the check-in process was frustrating and time-consuming.

The staff were excellent and very helpful, especially when I had that issue during the early morning. They treated me like I was important, like I was someone in control, you know? The breakfast was solid, and they had an omelette station, which really hit the spot after a long night. Loved that little touch.
